In an absolutely tragic and devastating event, former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith was shot and killed in a road-rage attack late on Saturday night. The shooting happened in New Orleans, and Smith’s wife, Raquel, was also shot in the leg, according to Andre Vergara of FOX Sports.
Vergara also points out that FOX Sports’ Kerouac Smith reported that the gunman, Cardell Hayes, was arrested and charged with second degree murder. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Smith family.

There were obviously many, many more, but it’s obvious there’s a massive amount of love and respect for Smith.
