After the Philadelphia Eagles made the massive trade to move up to No. 2 (see below), they openly stated that they would be taking a quarterback.

As you can imagine, current quarterback Sam Bradford wasn’t very happy about the news that his team just gave up a boatload of draft picks to draft the player who, honestly, is going to replace him.
Here’s what was said:
“He’s hot,” a source passed along to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. “Who wouldn’t be? This is Philly saying, ‘We don’t see (you) as long-term answer.’ He’s mad and wants to show everyone who’s best.”
That whole “I’m going to show them” attitude would be great, but it didn’t last very long. According to Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole, Bradford is now likely to either ask for a trade, or try to find some way to get out of Philadelphia.
What a crazy situation, especially after the Eagles handed Bradford a two-year, $35 million deal this offseason. On top of that, they also paid free agent quarterback Chase Daniel a three-year, $10 million deal as well. This one has the potential to get ugly pretty fast.
