The Tennessee Titans have waived once-promising quarterback prospect Zack Mettenberger to make room on the roster for rookie players, according to the team’s twitter account on Monday morning.
To make room for the additions, we waived QB Zach Mettenberger, DE Iosia Iosia, TE Kevin Greene and WR Rashon Ceaser.

Mettenberger is the odd man out with Marcus Mariota being the obvious starter as the team’s franchise quarterback and veteran Matt Cassell being signed earlier this offseason.
Despite having a 0-10 NFL record as a starter and more interceptions (14) than touchdowns (12), Mettenberger still has value given that he is just 24 years old.
According to Cameron DeSilva of Fox Sports, there are a few teams that could be interested in signing Mettenberger as a backup. These teams include the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, and Denver Broncos.
