Saints forego conditioning test in favor of helping flood victims 0. .

The New Orleans Saints reported to camp on Wednesday. Typically the official first day of camp kicks off with a conditioning test. It’s more than uncomfortable for most players, most notably the lineman. Not so this year. Saints’ team members started off camp by helping flood victims in West Virginia after a flood hit an area called The Greenbrier, which is where Saints’ camp is held every year. The flood took the lives of 26 people.

90 players came along with head coach Sean Payton to give back to the community that has hosted them for many years. Given the struggle New Orleans had 11 years ago in restoring their city, it’s admirable to see the Saints’ pouring back into Greenbrier’s parks and surrounding areas.
