The Cleveland Browns held an introductory press conference for Robert Griffin III on Wednesday after signing the quarterback to a two-year deal. RGIII has not played in a regular-season game since 2014 and was demoted to third string quarterback for all of the 2015 season.
One reporter asked Griffin what that experience was like for him and Griffin came back with this strong response:
Have you ever been able to not write? It’s one of those things that you love to do something so much and when that’s stripped away from you, one of two things can happen to you. You can either tank it, and allow it to break you, or you can let it build you up.
Even Ian Rapoport was impressed by some of Griffin’s responses.
"If you say you are humble, then you're not humble." — RGIII … His best line in his introductory news conference in Cleveland.

Griffin also said that he “just wants to play ball” after being asked how he sees himself fitting into the Browns’ scheme. Talk is cheap, so we’ll see how Griffin responds to his second chance in Cleveland soon enough.
