Packers’ shareholders met Thursday to discuss a host of items including possibly hosting the NFL draft, but more importantly: bacon. That’s right, the shareholders of Titletown met to discuss opening a new concession stand at Lambeau field that will have all bacon-themed items on their menu.
Marketing chairman Mike Weller made the announcement to a resounding yes from shareholders. The name of the stand will be called Patrick Cudahy Packhouse (named for the Cudahy, Wisconsin-based business founded in 1888).
“I didn’t realize that Patrick Cudahy would get quite the ovation. It’s a credit, I guess, to the tastes of Wisconsinites,” stated Mark Murphy, team president, after the meeting.
The menu for the new bacon haven is still being assembled, but is rumored to include items like bacon-wrapped baked potatoes, and bacon-crusted cheese curds served with a side of bacon-ranch dressing.
