Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy has been made fun of for his weight the last couple of seasons. The Packers would often give the football to the more explosive James Starks. Lacy is saif to have lost between 15 and 18 pounds since the end of last season. The weight loss was reported on Monday by Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
Even teammates were surprised with Lacy’s results. Jordan Nelson said per Demovsky:
I was going to crack a joke, but I won’t. He looked good. We’re glad to have everyone back, get ready to work. That will be for him to answer. I didn’t ask him how much he weighed or his percent body fat or how fast he ran.
In the season-ending press conference, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy called out Lacy for being too heavy. Lacy must have used that as motivation because he decided to work out with a P90X trainer this offseason.

“He looked good,” Aaron Rodgers said, per Demovsky. “Obviously been doing a lot of P90X.”
