Terron Beckham is trying his best to join his cousin Odell in the NFL next season. Terron’s journey is a little unconventional compared to most NFL prospects. He attended junior college a few years ago and has been a personal trainer since then. Terron, now 23, is trying to use his athleticism to impress NFL teams.
The 5-foot-11, 230 pound Beckham had his pro day on Thursday and did not disappoint. According to Connor Hughes of USA Today, the running back hopeful posted impressive numbers with 36 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, a 44.5-inch vertical leap, an 11-foot broad jump and a 4.47 40-yard dash. Hughes was not the only one amazed by Beckham’s showing:
Just realized Terron Beckham would have finished 1st among ALL prospects in vertical AND bench at NFL combine if posted same numbers there

If Beckham would have been able to attend the NFL Combine, he would have finished 5th best in the 40, 1st in both bench press and vertical jump. He also would have been the best in the broad jump and the three-cone drill.
Three NFL teams were in attendance, including the Raiders, Giants, and Jets. Beckham is still considered a long shot of being drafted in this year’s draft, but he has made a name for himself after today’s ridiculous performance.
