NFL Week 8 Fantasy Football: Top running back plays 0. .

If you did not read our top running back picks from last week then you left fantasy points off of your roster. We recommended using DeMarco Murray who finished with 24.7 fantasy points, Spencer Ware at 21.1 fantasy points and Jacquizz Rodgers at 20.3 fantasy points. This week should not be any different so let’s get after it in week 8.

Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys

Ezekiel Elliott has put up four weeks in a row of over 20 fantasy points and is becoming of the more consistent running backs in the league. Elliott might be overlooked by a lot of fantasy players this week since Spencer Ware will be slightly cheaper. But if you are looking for a lower owned running back who still has a high ceiling then Zeke is your man this week as he goes up against the Eagles.

Spencer Ware, Kansas City Chiefs

With Jamaal Charles out again this week, look for Spencer Ware to be extremely popular. And rightfully so after back to back 20+ fantasy games he goes up against a weak Colts defense. The Colts give up the most fantasy points to opposing runnings backs so far this season. An elite matchup and a fellow running back out will equal a great fantasy day for Ware this week.

Devontae Booker, Denver Broncos

Another injury opens the door for a potential steal this week at the running back position. C.J. Anderson has been placed on IR and now Devontae Booker will be taking over the Broncos backfield. It will be extremely hard not to roster Booker in every lineup that I make this week. He has the best value out of any running back this week because he is so inexpensive and is set up with one of the best matchups of the week. He will be going up against the Chargers who have given up the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. Booker will be by far the most-owned running back this week, but it will be a huge mistake if you fade him.

Matt Asiata, Minnesota Vikings

A super cheap play in the Monday night game is Matt Asiata. The Vikings announced that Jerick McKinnon will not play this week which means that Asiata will get the majority of the carries against the Bears. With a cheap salary, Asiata will easily exceed his value this week.
