NFL Week 16 Fantasy Football: Top Stacks 0. .

We have a special holiday edition of “Top Stacks” this week. Enjoy your Saturday opening gifts and watching the NFL Red Zone. But before doing that make sure you have our top stacks in your daily football lineups so your day can be even better.

Safe Stack: Drew Brees & Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints

Our recommended cash game top stack in week 16 is Drew Brees and Michael Thomas. Last week Brees lit it up with Brandin Cooks, which means they will be extremely popular come Saturday. Pivoting from Cooks to Thomas makes for a lot of fantasy value in your lineup. Vegas has the Saints favored by 3 points over the Buccaneers this week, with a game total of 52.5 points. There should be quite a bit of fantasy points up for grabs. Thomas dropped a wide open long bomb from Brees last week but still ended with 10 targets and 18.2 fantasy points.

Solid Stack: Aaron Rodgers & Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers

As the weather gets colder, some quarterbacks play better than other in these conditions. One of the best cold weather quarterbacks is Aaron Rodgers. Last week Ty Montgomery went off against the Bears in the run game and Rodgers ended up not needing to throw a touchdown to secure the win. Nelson still finished with 7 catches for over 100 yards on 10 targets. This week the Packers play host to the Vikings who are not playing good defense lately. They just gave up 34 points to the Colts just last week and I see Packers having a similar result on Saturday.

Sneaky Stack: Jameis Winston & Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

We head back to the game that is projected 52.5 total points according to Vegas. But this time our sneaky stack is on the other side of the ball with Jameis Winston and tight end Cameron Brate. The Buccaneers will have to play catch up with the Saints offense and the best matchup to target is Brate. The Saints give up the 24th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. This stack will also open of your lineup for more expensive players compared to the other stacks above.
