Ryan Fitzpatrick and the New York Jets have come to an agreement for the quarterback to come back for the 2016 season. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Fitzpatrick will sign a one-year deal worth $12 million guaranteed.

The deal also includes $3 million in incentives, which could bump his salary up to a total of $15 million. It was unknown if the two sides would work out a deal, especially when teammate Brandon Marshall said that Fitzpatrick would not respond to his text messages just a few weeks ago.
Fitzpatrick will still have Marshall and Eric Decker as his primary targets this season, but the Jets have also added ex-Bears running back Matt Forte to the list of playmakers. The Jets should have more of a balanced offense this season, especially with Fitzpatrick back under center.
