The New Orleans Saints kicked off their 2016 offseason with a splash, by parting ways with 32-year-old guard Jahri Evans. New Orleans was expected to make a few moves this offseason to help out their cap situation, and it seems they’re ready to get to work.

As Sam Robinson of Pro Football Rumors reported, the move will result in the Saints getting hit with $5.1 million in dead money, but will save them $3.1 million in 2016 cap space.
