NBA free agency opened on Friday, and the big wigs are letting the big bucks fly. There are contracts as high as $153 million for five-years on this list. That’s more money than Andrew Luck‘s new contract, which is $140 million ’til 2021, making him the highest paid player in the NFL.
NFL players were vocal on twitter about their opinions on the amount of money these players are making:

It’s been a week about money in the world of sports. Between Luck’s massive record-breaking contract, Jake Plummer’s rant about billionaire owners, and Richard Sherman challenging front office staff to start paying for their own stadiums, this is just the icing on the cake.
These players’ twitter reactions contrast strongly to the support they showed Luck after his deal was signed. Although the players are the ones up in arms about it, the fans should be the ones the most outraged. Eventually contracts will get higher and higher in every sport. That means more expensive tickets and merchandise for fans.
Apparently all’s fair in love and sports.
