Wide receiver James Jones revived his career in the NFL last year when he rejoined the Green Bay Packers for his ninth professional season. The 32-year-old is still looking for a new home and is considered one of the best remaining wide receivers left in free agency.
Jones is coming off a productive season after spending the 2014 season on the Oakland Raiders. In 2015, he finished with 50 receptions for 890 yards with 8 touchdowns.
The San Jose native went on SiriusXM Radio on Wednesday and said he would not mind playing for the San Fransico 49ers this year.
FA WR James Jones: I'm training right here in the Bay Area and I would love to stay at home and play for the #49ers.

Of course there is always a possiblity that Jones returns to the Green Bay Packers. He would have more competition in Green Bay with a healthy Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb to go along with Davante Adams and Jeff Janis.
