The wide receiver position can make or break your daily fantasy lineup. There is always potential for a huge game because their ceilings are so high but a bad week could completely bust your lineup. It is important to factor in the player’s upside and consistency.
Remember to enter DraftKings $1.25 million “Play Action” and take home $50k from just a $3 buy-in. Here are our top plays for DraftKings this week at running back. Let’s get after it.
*Just to note, we will not be including Thursday night players in this write-up.
Top DraftKings high-priced plays ($7,000-plus)
A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals ($8,600)
Of course, Antonio Brown has a great matchup against the Dolphins this week, but for $1,400 less give me A.J. Green this week. That’s right, Brown has a DraftKings salary of $10,000 this week! Green goes against the New England Patriots who allow the 17th most fantasy points to wide receivers in the league so far this season and Andy Dalton will need to be targeting Green a lot to stay in this game. Green should be fairly low owned after only putting up 9 fantasy points last week against the Cowboys. This is a little more risky play but I feel like using the extra money I will save to make a more balanced lineup.
Top DraftKings mid-priced plays ($5,000-$6,900)
Jarvis Landry, Miami Dolphins ($6,800)
Jarvis Landry has tailed off quick a bit in his last two games compared to his first two which could scare a lot of fantasy players off of him this week. The Dolphins take on the Steelers this week and is set up nicely for a potential shootout. Pittsburg ranks 22nd overall in fantasy points given up to opposing wide receivers this season, so a nice spot for Landry to be in. I see a nice rebound game for Landry this week and at a mid-range price you will be getting great value.
Top DraftKings low-priced plays ($4,900-under)
Tavon Austin, Los Angeles Rams ($3,900)
We have been picking on the Lions secondary all season and it has paid off for us. So this week the Rams head to Detriot and a nice sneaky play will be wideout Tavon Austin. Coming off a 10 target game to go along with a season-high 3 rushing attempts, Austin is getting more touches then he was earlier this season. I see Austin putting up some big numbers this week against a pretty terrible Detroit defense, making him my top value play at wide receiver in week 6.
