DraftKings Week 4 Fantasy Football: Top running back plays 0. .

Last week there were quite a few injuries that opened up some value plays at the running back position. This week we get a stud player back from suspension to go with some more sleeper picks. A nice stack option is pairing a running back with their defense because when teams are up later in games, they tend to run the ball more.

Remember to enter DraftKings $1.25 million “Play Action” and take home $50k from just a $3 buy-in. Here are our top plays for DraftKings this week at running back. Let’s get after it.

*Just to note, we will not be including Thursday night players in this write-up.

Top DraftKings high-priced plays ($7,000-plus)

Le’Veon Bell, Pittsburg Steelers ($7,500)

This week the most dominate running back returns to the football field and our daily fantasy rosters. Le’Veon Bell is back from his suspension and is the top running back in this week’s slate. Bell is pretty much a must play since his salary is just $7,500. The Steelers offense will be focused on putting the ball in Bell’s hands. Not just on the ground but in the air as well. Ben Rothesberger hinted that Bell could be lined up in the slot more this season which would be even better for fantasy owners.

Top DraftKings mid-priced plays ($5,500-$6,900)

Melvin Gordon, San Diego Chargers ($6,300)

Melvin Gordon had a pretty average game last week despite all the hype with Danny Woodhead out. He finished with 17.8 DraftKings fantasy points against the Indianapolis Colts. This week could be the week he goes crazy because his Chargers take on the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have one of the worst defenses in the entire league which should lead to a lot of fantasy point to spread around on the Chargers. Gordon will be the safest play for San Diego and I expect his best fantasy game of the season in this one.

Top DraftKings low-priced plays ($5,400-under)

Jordan Howard, Chicago Bears ($3,700)

The injury to Jeremy Langford means that rookie Jordan Howard will get the majority of the snaps in the backfield for the Chicago Bears. He had a nice game last week when Langford was taken out of the game and finished with 13.2 DraftKings fantasy points on just nine rushing attempts and four catches. In Howard’s first start he has a favorable matchup against the Detriot Lions. You could not ask for a better time to play Howard since his salary is extremely cheap at just $3,700. This will allow you to pay up at other positions this week.
